The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is the leading professional society for the field. AIChE is focused on providing programs and services essential to its members and their careers.

The mission of the student chapter of AIChE at Lehigh is to enrich the chemical engineering education of undergraduate students and broaden their knowledge of the field through interactions with fellow students, professors, and practicing engineers.

The Chemical Engineering Graduate Association (ChEGA) is an organization created and run by the students of the Chemical Engineering department. ChEGA serves the needs of the graduate students in the department and has been actively involved in organizing activities of both academic and social interest. Additionally, ChEGA assists incoming students and advises faculty on matters related to graduate student affairs.
