The 12th Annual Tiger-Hen-Hawk Rheology Symposium was held at Lehigh University on May 9th, 2009. The symposium which traditionally highlights graduate research from Princeton University (Tigers), University of Delaware (Hens) and Lehigh University (Hawks) was comprised of 10 oral and 31 poster contributions presented to almost 60 attendees. The plenary lecture, entitled "Fluid mechanics of suspensions: A consideration of pressure and inertia" presented by Professor Jeffrey Morris from the Levich Institute, City College of New York was both highly techically informative and insightful with regard to identifying preditor-prey relationships between school mascots from a CCNY Beaver. Two posters were acknowledged for their excellence, Mr. Dennis Kalman (University of Delaware) and Mr. Suresh Manohar (Lehigh University). The co-organizers Professors James Gilchrist and Anthony McHugh gratefully acknowledge sponsors Anton-Paar (Bruce Perrulli) and TA Instruments (Pete Shickel) for their support.
