Postdoctoral positions in CO/H2 chemistry for alternative fuels production.

This project investigates the production of oxygenated fuels from synthesis gas. Both, reactions, catalysts and their synthesis are to be studied. The project will also involve a reactor design as well as separation studies. The postdoctoral researchers will be directed by Prof. Hugo Caram in collaboration with Dr. Richard Herman.
Duration: 1-2 years, available immediately
Candidates having a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, or in a closely related field are invited to apply. Laboratory experience in reaction systems and/or catalysis is required; strong communication skills are also important, as is a high level of creativity.

Contact: Dr. Hugo S. Caram, Department of Chemical Engineering, Lehigh University, hsc0@lehigh.edu, 610-758-4259. Reviews of applications received will continue until the position is filled.
